| Eastbound and Down.
Metro-North Railroad F40PH-3C no. 4909 is seen leading Main Line train 1120 through Paterson, NJ en-route to Hoboken. Contrary to usual operations, the locomotive is on the east end of the train. In advance of heavy snowstorms, NJ Transit - who operates Metro-North West-of-Hudson trains and with whom the fleet is pooled - will wye trains to have locomotives "east out" for snow clearing. |
