| 24X rolls northbound by the Southern intermediates in Bessemer City, with the crew pushing as hard as they can to make Linwood in the snow. Their best efforts fell short as they hit a big rig stuck at a crossing just a few minutes ahead in Gastonia. The driver escaped and it sounded like the crew was shaken but not injured. |
