MBTA 1072, the final of 37 F40 rebuilds for the MBTA, rests in Framingham after a trip from Wabtec's Erie, PA, plant. The final 4 units all arrived on property in an all-black base coat, which they would all go through testing in, before being painted into a heritage paint scheme. 1072 ended up sticking around in Framingham for more than a week (technically through the new year) due to a handbrake issue.
