The town of Parry Sound is aglow as the sun quickly sets on a late October day. Highlighting a centerpiece to the town is the vast trestle, spanning 1695 feet long and 105 feet tall.
There are several restaurants with views of the trestle and for a brief couple minutes, as trains pass, it captures everyone's attention.
Seeing many trains a day, pounding the jointed rail atop, it's just north of a running agreement between CPKC and CN. Northbounds use the CPKC Parry Sound Subdivision (seen here) and southbounds use the CN Bala sub.
