Remarks & Notes

An approaching storm makes for an incredible sunset, especially with a well timed eastbound container train. If you have driven I-40 across the mostly flat desert of central Arizona between Flagstaff and Winslow its strange to see a sudden crack in the earth 250 feet deep. This evening it makes an impressive stage for an eastbound BNSF container train racing ahead of angry skies that later brought an early season snow squall at Canyon Diablo, AZ.
