We were able to shoot both CPKC Midwest Mexico Express (MMX) trains around Ottumwa. The 2 181 trains this weekend arrived 6 hour difference between days. The180 seemed to arrive right around the 7-8am area at Ottumwa since the train is only around 300 miles into the trip. Saturday, the pair met at Newtown, and on Sunday, they met right at Ottumwa. 181 leaves Ottumwa with a gray KCSM leader and 3400 feet of train, seen here crossing Des Moines River just north of the yard.
