| Remarks & Notes |
| Pointed at Starkey Hill, that winding grade close to town that is the start of the "Pumpkin Vine" line to Winston Salem, NC. Due to proximity and a grade nearing 1.7% Starkey has been the default locomotive test location for many years. Behind the test car is a measured set of coal loads followed by a Brookville genset, also being tested. Several runs were made with the Brookville piloting the rearward move. |
