| Modern and Classic.
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) car no. 4271 (Cincinnati Car Co., 1914-1924) is seen at Sedgwick Station en route to Skokie Shops after the CTA's 75th Anniversary celebration in the Loop. Passing in the other direction - and very nearly blocking this shot - is a Loop-bound Brown Line train, with former Skokie Swift car 3453 on the rear. Cars previously used for the Skokie Swift - now the Yellow Line - can be readily identified by the platforms in the roof where their pantographs we're previously mounted. |
