Re 420 # 199 and # 157 (Re 4/4 II # 11199 and # 11157) of the SBB in multiple control are crossing the 53 meter high and 127 meter long Chärstelenbach viaduct on the Gotthard north ramp between Gurtnellen and Amsteg-Silenen, pulling the 17 cars high luxury train "Venice Simplon-Orient-Express" (VSOE) of the Belmond company. The train run from Venice via Milan-Gotthard-Basel-Paris Gare du Nord to Calais. In the UK the Belmond British Pullman is used til London. Later this day, the train was stopped in Arth Goldau for several hours, because of a line interruption in Rotkreuz due to a very heavy thunderstorm with hail. The train left Switzerland in Basel after midnight finally.
