Bringing up the markers … er … End of Train Device on a Metrolink train carrying new rails to Ventura County is SCAX caboose MW01. This car, Metrolink’s only caboose, was built by Illinois Central’s Centralia Shops in 1971 (or maybe 1972) for use on that road’s freight trains. (Burbank, California – April 8, 2021)
