Remarks & Notes |
The BR&P lives on! On the morning of June 28th, 2020, the Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum pulled its newly restored BR&P caboose out of their shops and into the sunlight for the first time in over 20 years, making it the only operational piece of painted BR&P equipment in the world. Conductor Frank Gough watches the caboose make its first move while giving engineer Rick Rubino a count to a spot just outside the shop where the caboose was stopped and photographed. The caboose was then moved into the other stall of the workshop where it swapped places with the Museum's LV caboose which is nearing the end of its restoration. |
