| Repurposing a landmark. The former New York Central Railroad power plants in Glenwood near Yonkers, New York has sat dormant for decades. Built in 1907 as part of the electrification of the railroad, the structure is being restored as part of a waterfront development project. It sits adjacent to today’s MTA Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line, which also carries CSX and Amtrak trains on a daily basis. |
