Freshly repainted BB 2 sits in front of the Staunton shops before being transferred to Little Creek for it's new assignment on the Norfolk Division. Buckingham Branch GP16 2 was originally built as Seaboard Air Line EMD GP7 1732 in 1950.

The "BB" was founded in 1988 and ran its first train on March 6, 1989. The BB has grown from 17 miles of track and two employees to 275 miles and 75 employees, spanning over Virginia in three separate divisions.
