Remarks & Notes
Who needs an engine? Sometimes its nice to get a little creative with the rest of the train! On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Norfolk Southern Corp intermodal trains 23M and 20Q pass under the signal bridge at Auto 256 in Cassandra, PA, matched with unmatched double stacks. This scene would be permanently altered the next day as all four of the commonly visited signal bridges on the west slope (252, 254, 256, and 263) and the bridge mounted poles at 257 would be removed. Their elimination had been originally scheduled for the morning of June 9, but a derailment to the west disrupted that plan, allowing for a proverbial one day stay of execution.

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.
