| A Dinosaur Among Progress. SCAX 857, the lone un-rebuilt F59PH on Metrolink's locomotive roster, is still earning it's keep as it's dynamic brakes wine while slowing Metrolink 117 for it's next scheduled stop at Van Nuys. In the foreground to the left, the development of a second platform here continues to take shape that once in operation - will greatly alleviate dispatching headaches for the dispatcher at this location on the railroad. |
