Lame Ducks at the Engine House

The engine house tracks at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania are full of locomotives that will soon leave the planet. Beside the Amtrak E-units, EMD GM10B demonstrator 1976 will be gone after changing economics influence Conrail’s decision to abandon electrification. An Amtrak F49 and one of Conrail’s former Reading SW1001’s represent the power with more than a few years left in it.
