On September 28, 2011, inside Union Pacific’s De Soto, Missouri, car shop a welder grinds a repair to a freight car truck side frame that once belonged to UP covered hopper No. 980091. The repaired side frame will join the parts supply and eventually be used under another similar freight car cycling through the shops during a rebuild.
