Remarks & Notes

The Louisville & Indiana's newest addition to their roster works the yard making up its train for a northbound run to Indianapolis. The 3001 is their first SD40-2 with one more soon to come in a SD45 car body. Both have been decorated in a special honoring our veterans scheme. The 3001 was originally CEFX 3155 and built as UP 3544.
