Remarks & Notes
Bending around a gentle curve along the meandering Colorado River is Amtrak No. 5, the westbound California Zephyr, west of Radium, Colorado, on November 7, 2012. The train has just exited Red Gorge and headed for Yarmony and Bond on Union Pacific’s incredibly scenic Moffat Tunnel Subdivision.
