It's alive! Not only does Balmer Yard have a deadline with SD9s, it has two that work the yard. These SD9-3s have been retrofitted with more standardized cabs and remote control equipment. I got to watch this unit work the hump and hustle some refrigerated cars from one end of the yard to other, while doing track speed on the main.
