| Train 125 from Whangarei to Westfield approaches Kumeu, a wine producing district just beyond the western suburbs of Auckland. Due to light traffic and the operating costs for a route through very rugged terrain, the line is under threat of closure. DXB is the largest locomotive allowed on the line; even high cube containers don't fit through all the tunnels. |
