| Remarks & Notes |
| Two immigrants on the way through the emptiness of the Ascotán pass. Clyde GL26C-2 #2004 (former Queensland Rail) and EMD GT22CU-3 @2404 (former Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Colombia) are hauling a bolivian box car train with goods down to Antofagasta on the pacific coast. On nearly 4000 m above sea level the volcano in the background reaches the 6000m limit and marks also the chilean/bolivian border. |
