| A late 13T heads south through the Lehigh Gorge on the NS single main behind a nice CN leader. This particular stretch of trackage is unique in that each NS and RBMN have a parallel main track from Lehighton to "INDEPENDENCE" interlocking several miles north of here. The west track (which 13T is on) is the Lehigh Line, while the east track is the RBMN Main Line. The block signal in the background is out of service, though plans call for this stretch non-signalled trackage to eventually have CTC. |
