Due to the washouts and closure of the Moffat Tunnel line West out of Denver, BNSF was forced to run there Lincoln, NE-Provo, UT trackage right trains over Union Pacific's Overland Route between Hastings, NE and Salt Lake City, UT.
BNSF 4004 heading Westbound on one of the detour trains passes the sign marking the Summit of Sherman Hill as well as the Highest point on the original Transcontinental Railroad.
