| Fall colors, trains, the Mississippi River and the bridges that cross over it are the defining elements of this picturesque scene just north of Savanna, Illinois. A BNSF intermodal train is seen skirting along the western edge of Illinois bound for the Pacific northwest as the sun begins to set on a beautiful October day. Canadian Pacific's ex-Milwaukee Road swing bridge can be seen way in the background with Illinois/Iowa Route 64's bridge about a mile closer. |
