| A Silverton Station Agent silently observes preparations for the early morning departure of a southbound D&RGW train. Although the logo on the locomotive clearly rules out a Victorian-era scene, the Silverton-based employees of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad often wear Victorian-period dress and the lady pictured actually is a Station Agent for the line. The train she's watching is one of several photo specials that were operated by the D&S and the Durango Railroad Historical Society during Railfest in 2010. At the throttle of the uber-photogenic DRGW 315, narrow gauge enthusiasts may recognize the face of the uber-talented Soni Honegger. |
