A brilliant and colorful sunset lights up the sky behind the Norfolk Southern lift bridge over the Calumet River in South Chicago, IL. The bridge on the left is the only one of the three with an active railroad on it, carrying NS's mainline towards the city. From left to right the bridges are ex-Pennsylvania RR, ex-New York Central, and over on the right, half in the frame, is an ex-B&OCT bridge.
