| The “Rose Bowl Special” headed by Santa Fe FP 45 # 101 crosses the Los Angeles River in the Lincoln Heights area of downtown Los Angeles on January 1st, 1991. The single track steel bridge is now gone and a double track concrete clear span crosses the river at this point for the Metro Gold Line.
