Valley Railroad Consolidation #97 steps out onto the Deep River Creek Bridge as she heads north toward Chester, CT with a late afternoon excursion train. The line on which she runs is part of the old New Haven Railroad system, which follows the west shore of the Connecticut River, and passes over numerous tributary creeks, like the one seen here.
