| BNSF 9400 was still wearing an untouched coat of Burlington Northern "executive" paint while leading coal empties north at Palmer Lake, CO. The south track of the Joint Line is just out of view below grade near the telegraph pole. The classic red barn visible in the distance was torn down in the mid-late 2000s. Change is constant in Colorado, especially along the Front Range. |
