The CP's Kansas City Sub crosses over three trestles spanning the rolling hills of southeastern Monroe County. Two of the trestles are located at a point known as Foster, a few miles east of Moravia. The middle trestle was built somewhere around 1938 over Soap Creek and is 965 feet long. Here the southbound St. Paul, MN, to Shreveport, LA, manifest train rolls over the bridge with a hefty train that is DP-d 1x1. The train is dimensional and a key train.
