| Remarks & Notes |
| Foreign Power in a Historic Locale. Two CP units lead the daily 242 through Branchville, the first railroad junction in the United States and where the original South Carolina Railroad line passed through on its way from Charleston to Hamburg. Behind the train is the Branchville Passenger Depot, which now houses a museum and a restaurant. The building in the foreground is the Freight Depot, which has been restored to serve as an event center. |
