During the Huttwil Steam Days, the oldest operational steam locomotive built by SLM in Winterthur for adhesion operation was used for cab rides. The Ed 3/3 # 3 LANGNAU was built in 1881 for the Emmental Railway, now belongs to the collection of the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne (VHS) and is on loan to the Bern Steam Railway Association in Konolfingen. In spring 2025, after a very long period of storage (since 1970), the locomotive was made operational again by three enthusiastic young experts from the Bern Steam Railway and was operated for the first time on May 17/18, 2025, during the 150th anniversary of the Emmental Railway. Marco is operating the LANGNAU moving backwards, having put the locomotive back into service together with Tim and Michael.
