A 133-car 260 train digs into the grade as they pass through Moravia and over the Iowa Southern Railroad. Heavy grading work is being done to add a new siding south of town to accommodate the bigger trains. The KC Sub struggles at times with big trains through here because trains have to run from Ottumwa to Sewal and back (4 hrs-55 miles) for big train meets. This train is making all kinds of good time. Caught up in train line issues, stalled train rescue, small sidings, low fuel, and maybe crew shortages, this train has gone from MP 283 to here at MP 328 in 20 hours. Yeah on velocity!
