| Caltrain at College Park.
Caltrain KISS car 335 is the lead unit on train 429 to San Francisco, seen here passing through College Park Station. The station is one of, if not the last to feature the original Southern Pacific arrangement of a side platform to the west of the tracks and a narrow island platform between tracks, requiring northbound passengers to cross the southbound track to board their train. Further adding to this here is an additional siding track accessing the Centralized Equipment Maintenance and Operations Facility (CEMOF) effectively making the side platform also a narrow island between two tracks! |
