| Baldwin V0-1000
Built in 1942 this Baldwin VO-1000 clambers up the grade towards Ray Mine. The locomotive was used by various railroads and mining roads for almost a continuous 40 years until 1983. At the time it was stored, it was part of Kennecott's Nevada operations as a switcher at the MvGill Smelter. After sitting for decades the Nevada Northern fired it up and put it back to work hauling tourists. |
