With the lost of the US Mail contracts, Santa Fe seeks to utilize a surplus of passenger F units for regular freight service. Santa Fe F3(A)#18 leads four passenger scheme "Warbonnets" F-units on March 22, 1969 at Denver, Colorado. Photo by Ken Crist, from my collection.
