With blue signal protection in place, Lancaster and Chester extra Train 10's crew awaits the all clear from maintenance personnel before moving cars around at the recently added passing track in close proximity to the Circle S Feed Mill at Richburg, SC. It would only be several minutes later and 10 would have the blue signs taken down and would get their day started. Once their consist was built, Train 10 would get underway with a hefty cut of refrigerated reefers in tow bound for Gallo Winery at Fort Lawn, SC. Once this task was completed, they would return to Richburg and assist Train 14 out of Lancaster in working the feed mill. Also of note in this photo is lead locomotive #4431, one of four recently acquired and placed in service ex-UP SD70Ms. As far as I can tell, this is the first time any photos of the new L&C ex-UP SD70Ms have appeared on RP.net.
