They need to put a light or a window or a big sticker of a raccoon or something on that nose!

SP had purchased 25 SD 70M's in 1994 just before the UP merger. This unit was not one of them having been constructed for UP in 2001. SP's were fairly base model units - I recall they had analogue displays rather than screens but UP liked them so much they purchased 1,400 more to replace the older units such as the SD40T-2's.
