Changing Colors.
On Saturday October 5, 2024, NJ Transit held its annual "MMC Family Day" event at the Meadows Maintenance Complex. The star of the show was GP40PH-2B no. 4208 in its recently completed Conrail heritage scheme. The locomotive was fittingly positioned next to GP40PH-2 no. 4101, which sports an NJDOT heritage scheme, as the NJDOT subsidized, and later took over from Conrail the operation of New Jersey's commuter rail lines.
