Metro-North Train No. 2766 is a scheduled deadhead train between Harmon Yard and Grand Central Terminal. Engine 221 is pictured here shoving the train south along the Harlem River. This section of New York City is known as Marble Hill. Savvy New Yorkers realize that this section of New York City is in the borough of Manhattan despite being technically connected to the Bronx. This anomaly exists as a result of the rerouting of the Harlem River to accommodate the railroad tracks pictured below. |
