| Amtrak's eastbound California Zephyr descends down the 2% grade of the Moffat Tunnel Sub as it approaches Tunnel 1 near Plainview siding. Due to summer heat, the Union Pacific Railroad has issued "heat warnings" which make trains having to traverse the territory at 15 MPH. With the Phase III heritage unit leading, and Amtrak's paint scheme trailing, this consist offers a nice collaboration of colors schemes. |
