Visible on a guided escort within the shop yard are six unrepainted SD40-2 which have seen little to no use since GrupoMexico took over. With five of the GE sent to Mexico and others being taken off the road for repaint, this may change. At least one has been stripped to its frame for rebuild into an MOW-type unit and another has since been seen in the shop.
