Pages from Black History.
On Monday, February 26, 2024, NJ Transit unveiled a newly wrapped locomotive and bus featuring "Pages from Black History" graphics at Newark Penn Station. The wraps highlight and celebrate prominent African Americans and their contributions to American history, and were designed in collaboration with NJ Transit's B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Company Employee Resource Group (Building Resources for Inclusion, Diversity, Guidance and Equitable Standards) and made possible through a generous sponsorship from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Bombardier ALP-45DP no. 4508 and NABI 416.15 no. 6207 will be sporting the wraps for the foreseeable future!
