Remarks & Notes
As Amtrak train 56, the Washington DC to Saint Albans, Vermont Vermonter, pauses for its electric locomotive (and one coach) to be removed (AMTK ACS-63 626, on the right) and swapped for a diesel (P42DC 88). As this is occurring, southbound Amtrak train 473, a Hartford Line train (Springfield MA to New Haven CT) consisting of two P42DCs (97 up front, and 92 on the rear) and two Amfleet cars, arrives on the adjacent track.
