A pair of General Electric demonstrators, GECX 2025 and 2037, sit in the small engine facility in BNSF Railway's San Bernardino A Yard. These test locomotives were either ES44AC, ES44A6, ES44C6 or, perhaps, even EF44AC models. Back in 2013, when these were built, even GE was unsure what to call these! And not far behind these, in another set of power, was GECX 2024, which was testing on the Union Pacific the previous year. (San Bernardino, California – December 12, 2015)
