| The one of two SD70ACe/LW locomotives bound for the new coal hauling Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait Railway in Mongolia take a ride onboard flatcars on their way to Morehead City, NC for export. This operation uses Russian gauge trucks, which were shipped separately. The best info I could find shows that these are the first of 16 SD70ACe/LW's on order, and the only examples of this model so far. Morehead City has become one of the primary locations for export locomotives to be offloaded. |
