EMD built the unit (b/n 34540) in October 1969 and retired it on May 29 1985. Utahrails.net records, “UP 6902, 6908, 6909, 6914, 6923, 6924, 6926, 6927, 6933, 6934, 6940, 6941, 6942, 6943, 6945 (15 units) were traded to EMD in August 1986; scrapped.” My photo.
