The eastbound Rocky Mountaineer passenger train has exited the Moffat Tunnel surrounded by golden autumn color at East Portal, Colorado, on September 26, 2023. The train is crossing County Road 16 grade crossing as it descends the Union Pacific’s Moffat Tunnel Subdivision on a two percent grade.
