| Here's how Saginaw layout now looks after the diamonds have been removed in favor of the switches. Also featured here are the first 4 of the 8 units of Stadler FLIRT (Fast Light Intercity and Regional Train) DMUs bound for the new DART silver line project connecting DFW airport to Plano. These sets were transported by BNSF (J-SCLIRB) to NorthYard and will be delivered to Denton Transport authority by DGNO. These sets will be maintained at the Denton EMF when the service starts in late 2024/25 and will use the erstwhile MKT line between Denton and Carrolton to service the DART silver line. |
